Data Analyst — Silgan Unicep, Spokane, WA

September 2025 – Present

I was brought in to build automated reporting that could measure our KPIs without the hours of manual data pulling it used to take. That work grew into a company-wide reporting initiative — starting with lightweight tools in Smartsheet and Excel, and evolving into a centralized Power BI and Microsoft Fabric reporting platform used across Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.

finished goods Counts Workspace

My first major project was a Smartsheet workspace that tracked production progress across every active order in our Spokane facility. It became the backbone of our daily 8 a.m. production meetings and is still used across departments to monitor order status, spot performance trends, and reference historical data.

Inventory & Scrap Tracking

While building FG Counts, I noticed recurring inventory discrepancies. I built a tool that cross-referenced two separate systems to catch mismatches in one place, which ultimately helped pinpoint and resolve the source of ongoing inventory loss.

MPS Data Automation

A weekly scheduling task that used to take 2–4 hours of manual work became a 15–30 minute process after I built an Excel tool that automatically pulled, organized, and validated the data — including flagging missing or incorrect orders.

Enterprise Reporting Platform (Power BI + Microsoft Fabric)

When our previous reporting tool was discontinued, I led the move to a proper BI platform — designing a Power BI and Microsoft Fabric workspace with a real data warehouse, Git-based version control, and deployment pipelines separating development from production. I managed the rollout end to end, working directly with stakeholders across the company to migrate off the old system with zero disruption to daily operations.
